Rousselot (Guangdong) have obtained following certifications, approvals and reward consecutively since 2000: ISO9002-Management System Certification ( certified by Det Norske Veritas) and Certification of Suitability of Monographs of the European Pharmacopoeia by EDQM in 2000, HACCP Certification in 2001, Certification of Quarantine Health Registration for Edible and Pharmaceutical Gelatin Production issued by National Entry-exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau , Pharmaceutical Manufacturing License issued by FDA as well as " Outstanding Food Enterprise of Nation Food Industry" rewarded by China Food Industry Association in 2002. At present, it is the only gelatin manufacturer qualified as HALAL issued by Islamic organization and KOSHER by American Jewish committee, ISO9001-2000 Certification in 2003.

 

The full name of ISO-9001 standard is "GB/T 19001-1994 idt ISO 9001:1994 quality system,the quality guarantee norms for production, installation and service.It is one of a series of international standards which is set by ISO/ TC 176 Technical Committee To pass the ISO-9001 standard certification, the formal documented quality guarantee system must be established by enterprise according to the standard requirements and be able to improve the established quality guarantee system continuously and the enterprise is required to guarantee that the whole process of production, installation and service is under control to assure the stable product quality and become a positive cycle mechanism through continuous improvement and guarantee the improvement of product quality so as to meet the stated or unstated needs of customers.

 

HACCP is the abbreviation of "Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point". The HACCP system is considered as the most effective management system for the control of food safety and quality. It is one of the approach to food safety productionthrough the analysis from raw material, critical production steps to human factors which influence the product safety, to determine the critical control point of the process establish and consummate the monitoring procedure and standard and then take standard corrective measures. The definition of the International standard CAC/RCP-1 "Food Health General Rules Revision 3,1997" ix HACCP: A system that identifies, evaluates and controls hazards that are significant for food safety.

 

EDQM which is the subordinate of the Council of European is the core of European Drugs Management System. Itis aimed to guarantee that all drugs which is produced and sold in Europe having the same level of excellent quality, at the same time to further promotethe centralization and sharing of the resources. EDQM is established and developed through the continuous cooperation between European Union and the Council of Europe and has effectively satisfied the need of reducing technical barriers in the free trade of drugs as well as proper utilization of public health resources.
The certification procedure of CEP of European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines (EDQM) is based on a resolution of the Public Health Committee (Partial Agreement, Resolution AP-CSP (93) 4). The purpose of the Certificates of Suitability (CEP) is for the evaluation of the suitability of the monograph for the control of the chemical purity and microbiological quality of the substance and the evaluation of reduction of Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy (TSE) risk.

 

The State General Administration of the People’s Republic of China for Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) is a law-enforcement administrative organ of the State Council in the field of quality, metrology,entry-exit commodities inspection, entry-exit health quarantine, entry-exit animal and plant quarantine , certificate and accreditation and standardization.

In addition to that, respecting other national customs, Rousselot is the only gelatin manufacturer qualified as HALAL issued by Islamic organization in China, Indonesia and Malaysia, and KOSHER certified by American Jewish committee . This allows Rousselot and its customers to cater for the whole market.

 

Jewish food is made in accordance with the Jewish dietetic law which strictly followed by Jewish for thousand years from raw material till the finished product. Rabbi (Judaism priest, Judaic legal science doctor) is the Judaism leader who has been engaged in the Judaic law research for many years, also called Jewish expert. The Jewish expert must obtain the certificate and Business Permit which is similar to the attorney business permit before he can make the explanation to the Judaic food law and carry on the management to its implementation. These laws specifies those food which is acceptable to Judaic law and embodies that the food and its ingredients comply with the diet requirement of Judaic law.

 

The Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America namely International Islamic Food and Nutrition Association is a non-profit, educational and certification organization dedicated to promoting Islamic vegetarian diet and nutrition and has been approved by all Muslim country and Trade Agent for importing Islamic vegetarian diet food. does not have the earning capacity, by educates and signs and issues the certificate primarily, devotes in promoted Islamic vegetarian diet food and the nutrition organization. Possesses the Muslim country and vegetarian diet Islamic food imports the foreign trader to approve any is "Islamic" (HALAL).
