Commonly used dissolving process for Hard Capsules as
follows: Add certain quantity of water into dissolving
tank first and heat up the water to the temperature of
82~87.7oC (180~190oF) then stopheating (maintain the jacketed
water temperature), start mixer, then put certain quantity
of gelatin(normally 100~150 kilogram) into the dissovling
tank, seal the tank and start the vacuum pump. After 40
minutes(between 40 minutes and 1 hour), if no air bubbles
is observed from sight glass, then stop mixer and vacuum
pump. The gelatin solution temperature at this time is
about 50oC.
